The Tele Vue 2x - 2" Big Barlow Lens is designed to fit a 2" barrel and accepts a 2" or a 1.25" eyepiece. It will double the magnification you would get with that eyepiece and telescope combination, without the Barlow lens. The Big Barlow is ideal for Newtonian scope owners. It will be parfocal with both 2" and 1" eyepieces, in this application.
Features of the 2x - 2" Big Barlow Lens W/ Compression Ring by Tele Vue include: A 1.25" eyepiece adapter, parfocalization, 48 mm filter threads, captive lock screws that won't fall out, brass compression ring to protect your eyepiece barrels, and full multicoatings on the high quality optics.
