Apertura has designed this focuser to be fully compatible with motorized EAFs directly out of the box! The upgraded R&P focuser is also specifically designed for the Apertura CarbonStar 150 Imaging Newtonian and easily replaces the factory Crayford focuser with just two fasteners and the included hex key! This makes attaching the focuser to your OTA and then an EAF quick and hassle-free, so you can get out under the stars faster!
Rack and Pinion Design
This focuser from Apertura offers precise and reliable motion with a rugged design that ensures consistent performance! Since the tension is preset in the factory, it has anti-vibration properties that hold adjustments, meaning the focuser requires minimal maintenance throughout its life!
